La Sociedad Para las Artes at New Mexico State to present Jacqueline Osherow reading

Jacqueline Osherow, poet and published author, will be featured in La Sociedad Para las Artes' Fall 2002 Visiting Author Series at New Mexico State University Friday, Oct. 11.

ding will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Hardman Hall Room 106.

Osherow is a professor at the University of Utah. Her books include "With a Moon in Transit," "Conversations with Survivors," "Looking for Angels in New York" and "Dead Man's Praise." Her poems have appeared in The Times Literary Supplement, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Triquarterly, Ploughshares and other magazines, journals and anthologies.

Local poet Sheila Black will also be reading.
