Remembrance ceremony for NMSU students, Virginia Tech moved to Corbett Center

New Mexico State University will hold its annual ceremony to honor Las Cruces campus students who lost their lives during the past academic year at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, on the second floor lobby of Corbett Center. The location has changed because of the number of people planning to attend. The program will include a remembrance of the victims of the recent tragic events on the Virginia Tech campus.

NMSU President Michael Martin, Carmen Gonzales, vice president for student success, and Rabbi Gerald Kane of the Interfaith Council will speak.

Associated Students of NMSU President Ben Hardy and Student Regent Ed Kellum also will participate. For more information, contact the Office of the Dean of Students at (505) 646-1722.
