NMSU DACC to recognize outstanding graduates

The New Mexico State University Dona Ana Community College will honor the Spring 2007 Outstanding Graduates at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 10, in the Corbett Center Student Union's Colfax Room on the main campus.


The Alumni Association has selected a recipient from each of the DACC's five divisions based on outstanding scholarship, leadership and participation in university and community activities.

The Business and Information Systems Division will honor Yvonne Feagin of Las Cruces, a major in business office technology with an emphasis in the accounting option.

The General Studies Division will honor Nicholas Tanner of Mesilla, who will receive an associate's in arts.

The Health and Public Service Division will honor Juan Carlos Becerra of Mesilla, a major in radiologic technology.

The Technical and Industrial Studies Division will honor Olivia Maxell of Las Cruces, a major in creative media technology.

The White Sands Education Center will honor Gima Franco of Las Cruces, a major in business management.
