NMSU to hold pancake supper

WHAT: The NMSU finals pancake supper

WHEN: 9-11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11

WHERE: Taos Restaurant on the NMSU main campus

VISUALS: Pancake flipping contest

The NMSU finals pancake supper is an opportunity for the Taos Restaurant staff and New Mexico State University administration to visit with students in a fun and casual environment during finals week. Students get a break from studying for their finals and a welcome dose of sugar.

This semester the supper will feature a pancake flipping contest, which will pit groups of NMSU administrators against one another. Each group will have one member who will be responsible for flipping the pancakes over a divider and another who will be responsible for catching them on a plate. Students also will be able to participate in Sumo wrestling, listen to music and visit with friends before they leave for the holiday break.

The event is free for all meal plan participants, $2 for cash customers or you can receive free entry with a canned food donation to go to a local charity.
