NMSU, UNM regents to hold joint meeting in Albuquerque

The Board of Regents of New Mexico State University will hold a joint session with the University of New Mexico Board of Regents at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, in Lobo A and B at the UNM Student Union Building on the UNM campus in Albuquerque.


Items to be discussed include legislative initiatives and other activities on which the two universities are collaborating. Later that day, regents plan to attend the NMSU/UNM football game at University Stadium.

The regular meeting of NMSU's Board of Regents will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the NMSU Albuquerque Center, 2444 Louisiana NE, Suite 101, Albuquerque, N.M.

A closed executive session will be held at 4:30 p.m. following the Board of Regents meeting Sept. 7 in the NMSU Albuquerque Center Conference Room. Personnel, real estate and legal matters will be discussed in accordance with sections 10-15-1 H (2), (7) and (8) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.

Copies of the agenda will be available at NMSU, Zuhl Library, Las Cruces, 24 hours prior to the meeting. The agenda also will be posted on the university Web site at http://www.nmsu.edu/Administration/regents_meeting.html.
