Spring Visitors' Day will give high school students and their parents an opportunity to get an overview of the university and what campus life is like.

"Spring Visitors' Day is a great opportunity for students and their families to see what the NMSU community is all about and what it can offer," said Megan Schuller, coordinator for NMSU Admissions.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Pan American Center. The visiting students will be divided into groups based on their academic interests and will be given information on NMSU's programs in academic sessions.
Walking tours of the campus will be available, including residence halls. There also will be an information fair for students to explore NMSU's many clubs and organizations.

Schuller said Spring Visitors' Day is a great recruiting tool because 60 percent of the high school students who visit during the event are likely to become NMSU students.
