NMSU observatory to hold open house

The New Mexico State University Department of Astronomy will hold an observatory open house at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at the NMSU campus observatory.


Astronomy professor Bernie McNamara and graduate students Randy Carlson, Sean Lindsay and Brandon Lawton will be on hand during the open house. If weather permits, visitors will view the Moon, star clusters, double stars, the planet Jupiter and other celestial objects.
