DISCUSSION ON DARFUR TO BE HELD AT NMSU


As part of a Fall Speaker Series the Union Program Council at New Mexico State University will present "Voices From Darfur" at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, in the Corbett Center Student Union Auditorium.

"Voices from Darfur" is sponsored by the Save Darfur Coalition and is intended to increase awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Darfur and call the public to action through exposure to first-hand testimonials from Darfur refugees.

The event will include a short documentary film followed by testimony from one or more Darfuri speakers and a question-and-answer session.

NMSU CREATIVE MEDIA INSTITUTE TO RECORD STUDENT MEMORIES

The Creative Media Institute (CMI) at New Mexico State University will offer students an opportunity to record favorite memories and interesting tales of life with the Aggie StoryCapsule from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, and Friday, Oct. 19, in Milton Hall Room 185.
