NMSU closures and changes in hours of operation for the Thanksgiving holiday

New Mexico State University students will be on Thanksgiving break Monday, Nov. 20, through Friday, Nov. 24. During the break NMSU also will have some closures and changes in hours of operation. On Thanksgiving Day and Friday, Nov. 24, the entire university will be closed.


The NMSU Art Gallery will be closed Monday, Nov. 20, but open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. It will then close Thursday through Sunday. The NMSU Museum will be closed the entire week.

The Zuhl Library will change its hours during the holiday. Monday through Wednesday it will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The library will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday. On Saturday, Nov. 25, the library will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to midnight. Branson Library will follow the same schedule.

Corbett Center also will change its hours. Monday through Wednesday it will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Corbett Center will be closed. On Sunday, the building will resume normal hours of operation, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Despite the break, the Theatre Arts Department is running its production "Seussical" Nov. 17 through Dec. 4. For more information call (505) 646-4515.

Campus computer labs also will be open for most of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Vista Del Monte campus housing computer lab will remain open completely, as will computer lab 128 in Jacobs Hall. Pete's Place computer lab in Corbett Center also will remain open for most of the week, but will close on Friday, Nov. 24. On Sunday, Nov. 26, Pete's Place will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight and Jacobs Hall 128 will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
