NMSU and UNM Greek members compete in canned food drive

Fraternity and sorority members of New Mexico State University and the University of New Mexico will compete in a canned food drive from Sept. 2 to 25.

The university that donates the largest amount of non-perishable food items will be recognized at the Aggie vs. Lobo football game Sept. 27. All food will be donated to Community Action Agency and will benefit residents in Southern New Mexico.

Canned food donations can be made at any fraternity or sorority house, the Campus Activities office located on the second floor of the Corbett Center Student Union Room 235 and the Community Action Agency located at 320 East Wyatt Drive, in Las Cruces.

When dropping food off, please mention the donation is for the NMSU Greek canned food drive, so it will be weighed and counted for the competition.

The Greek community of NMSU's mission is to provide a comprehensive educational and social learning experience for its members through the promotion of brotherhood and sisterhood, leadership and personal development, academics and service to the university and Las Cruces community.
