NMSU closures and changes in hours of operation during winter break

New Mexico State University students will be on winter break beginning Monday, Dec. 18, until Thursday, Jan. 18. During the break NMSU also will have some closures and changes in hours of operation.


From Friday, Dec. 22, through Monday, Jan. 1, the entire university will be closed.

The NMSU Libraries, Zuhl and Branson, will be closed Saturday, Dec. 16, and Sunday, Dec. 17. They will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday, Dec. 18, through Thursday, Dec. 21. The libraries will be closed from Dec. 22 until Jan. 2. Starting Jan. 2 they will open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. They will resume regular hours on Jan. 18.

Corbett Center Student Union will close for winter break at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21. Corbett will open again on Jan. 2, but will be open only on weekdays until returning to regular hours on Jan. 18.

The University Museum gallery will close Dec. 16 and open again on Jan. 16 with two exhibits, "Pottery from Americas" and "The Archaeology of El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro in Southern New Mexico."

The NMSU Art Gallery will be closed from Dec. 22 until Jan. 2, but there will be no displays until the Faculty Exhibition opens Jan. 26.
