NMSU ART GALLERY TO DISPLAY RETABLOS


ibit "Seeking the Divine: Retablos and Icons of Personal Faith" will be on display at the NMSU Art Gallery through Friday, Dec. 22.

The show includes retablos, or religious artifacts, from the gallery's permanent collection, which is the largest museum collection of retablos in the nation. The exhibit also will feature other religious iconography works of art and artifacts that were created by local artists or collected by local collectors.


PHOTO EXHIBIT FEATURES THEATER
The New Mexico State University Department of Theatre Arts and American Southwest Theatre Company are presenting a photo exhibit of their 2005-06 theater season, on display in the Hershel Zohn Theatre lobby through December.

NMSU MUSEUM OFFERS POTTERY EXHIBIT
"Pottery of the Americas" is a permanent exhibit of more than 600 prehistoric and historical Southwestern and Mesoamerican ceramics at the New Mexico State University Museum.

Museum exhibits are free and open to the public. The museum also offers Saturday family workshops from 2 to 3:30 p.m. For more information call (505) 646-3739.
