CHOIR TO HOLD SPANISH THEMED HOLIDAY CONCERT


Mexico State University Choirs will hold "Celebracion de Navidad" at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Music Center Recital Hall.

The concert will feature two Spanish mass settings from a New Mexican composer, well known holiday carols and Venezuelan carols.

Call the Pan American Center at (505) 646-1420 for tickets. Prices are $10, $12, or $15. Student tickets are $3.

NMSU NEW HORIZONS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA TO HOLD CONCERT
New Mexico State University's New Horizons Symphony Orchestra will hold a concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Music Center Recital Hall.

The community symphony orchestra will be conducted by Gordon Butler. The concert is free and open to the public.

NMSU MUSEUM DISPLAYS MEMORIES
"New Mexico State University Memories: The First 30 Years" is on display at the University Museum until Dec. 16. Through photos and artifacts, this exhibit celebrates the first 30 years of NMSU when it was called New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts during the late 19th century and early 20th century.

Museum exhibits are free and open to the public. The museum also offers Saturday family workshops from 2 to 3:30 p.m. For more information call (505) 646-3739.

MUSEUM OFFERS HISTORIC AMADOR FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHS
"Friends of the Family: Photographs from the Amador Family Collection" is on display at the University Museum through Dec.16. The exhibit features photographs taken by members of the prominent Amador family during the early 20th century in Las Cruces. These photographs reveal the people and places of Las Cruces during the Edwardian era.

PHOTO EXHIBIT FEATURES THEATER
The New Mexico State University Department of Theatre Arts and American Southwest Theatre Company are presenting a photo exhibit of their 2005-06 theater season, on display in the Hershel Zohn Theatre lobby through December.
