UNIVERSITY MUSEUM TO HOST FAMILY WORKSHOP


The New Mexico State University Museum will host a Saturday Family Workshop from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4.

The workshop will include a project making graham cracker Mayan Temples. The workshop is free and open to the community.

The New Mexico State University Museum will present Weldon Lamb and his lecture "The Maya Month Names" at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9.

The event is part of the University Museum's Lecture Series. The lecture is free and open to the public.

HRTM WILL OFFER ETIQUETTE CLASS

The School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management and Career and Placement Services will host "Mind Your Manners: The Fine Art of Dining Etiquette" from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the Stan Fulton Athletics Center University Club.

The dinner teaches students proper dining and socializing skills in a fine-dining situation. The dinner is $15 and students who are interested need to RSVP with payment by April 1.

NMSU BOOSTORE TO HOST BOOK SIGNING

The New Mexico State University bookstore will host a book signing with Dr. Benjamin Diven, medical director for NMSU Clinics, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 9.

Dr. Diven will be signing his published book, "Closing the Chasm: Letters from a bipolar physician to his son."
