Official NMSU ring and other items can be ordered during Grad Fair

Now is the time for New Mexico State University students to start thinking about ordering a graduation ring and other graduation items. A representative from the Balfour Company will be available to take class ring orders at the Grad Fair, which will be held from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. March 16 and 17 in Corbett Center Student Union.

Each official ring symbolically captures the uniqueness of NMSU. The student can also choose whether to have the ring enhanced with an optional diamond or cubic zirconia.

During the Grad Fair, students also can purchase graduation announcements, their cap and gowns and frames for their diplomas. A photographer also will be at the fair to take graduation portraits, so students who wish to have portraits taken should come prepared to have their picture taken.

Students will receive their rings during an official ceremony held May 4 in the west ballroom on the third floor of Corbett Center. Hors d'oeurves will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. Participants in the ceremony need to RSVP by April 30.

The NMSU ring is available exclusively to students who have achieved 70 credit hours in good standing (a minimum of 60 credit hours is required to order).
