Archuleta re-elected president of NMSU Board of Regents

Adelmo "Del" Archuleta of Albuquerque, chief executive officer of Molzen-Corbin & Associates, an engineering and architectural firm, has been re-elected president of the New Mexico State University Board of Regents for 2000-01.

Archuleta was appointed to a six-year term on NMSU's governing board by Gov. Gary Johnson in 1997. He served two years as the board's vice president before being elected last year to his first one-year term as president.

Archuleta is a graduate of NMSU, having earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 1973 and his master's degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis on environmental engineering, in 1975. He is an expert in analysis, planning, design, project coordination, contract administration and construction management in the water and wastewater engineering field.

Molzen-Corbin & Associates has offices in Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Carlsbad.

Also at the board's March 24 meeting, Larry Sheffield of Las Cruces, a real estate developer, was re-elected vice president, and John Van Sweden of Raton, president of the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau, was re-elected secretary-treasurer.
