DANCE TO BENEFIT STUDENT ORGANIZATION


The New Mexico State University Department of Agricultural Extension Education Graduate Student Organization will hold a dance at the Livestock Pavilion on campus from 8 p.m. to midnight April 30.

The dance is open to the public. Admission is $5 for one and $8 for two at the door. The Yarborough Band will play and refreshments will be available.

UNIVERSITY MUSEUM AT KENT HALL PUBLIC LECTURE SERIES

The New Mexico State University Museum will feature "The Art of Making Yaqui Masks," a carving demonstration by Louis David Valenzuela from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 1.

Valenzuela will be demonstrating the art of carving Yaqui masks and discussing the tradition of mask making. Admission is free and light refreshments will be provided. For more information please call (575) 646-5161 or visit http://www.nmsu.edu/museum.

STUDENTS CAN LET OFF STEAM AT SEMI-ANNUAL PANCAKE DINNER

The spring 2010 Finals Pancake Supper will take place from 9-11 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at Taos Restaurant on the first floor of Corbett Center Student Union near the east entrance.

Admission is just $2, but students can get in free with a canned food donation or with their meal plan.

LIVE JAZZ PERFORMANCE WITH AL MENDEZ

Al Mendez is the next performer on tap at The Player's Grill restaurant and bar. Mendez will perform live jazz music from 7-10 p.m. on the Fridays of May 7 and 14.

Admission is $5 with a valid NMSU ID or $10 for general admission. For an additional $12 enjoy a delicious steak or fish dinner that includes a vegetable and dessert.
