New Mexico State University to host International Festival

The office of the Vice Provost for International Programs at New Mexico State University will host International Festival 2003 (formerly Miniworld) March 7-8 in the Corbett Center Ballrooms.


tival provides the local community an opportunity to experience the different cultures at New Mexico State, whose international population includes 700 students from 75 countries.

Festival visitors will be entertained by music, dancing and games. Native art, clothing, artifacts, jewelry and photos will be on display. Native foods and beverages will be available to guests as they visit various booths.

International students participating in the festival will be dressed in their native fashions.

Las Cruces area children are invited to attend the festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 7, and the public is welcome from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 8. Both exhibitions are free.
