NMSU NEWSPAPERS GO DIGITAL


A celebration is being planned to commemorate New Mexico State University's student run newspaper, "The Round-Up" and its predecessor, "The New Mexico Collegian" as they become digitized and searchable online. The celebration will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, August 20, on the fourth floor of Branson Library on the NMSU campus.

FIRST NMSU EXHIBITION OF THE FALL TO OPEN AUG. 20

The New Mexico State University Art Gallery invites the public to the opening reception for "Unmute: Text & Image in American Art 1970-2000" being held at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20.

Over 50 works, including artists' books, photographs and prints from the NMSU Permanent Collection, explore the intersection of the written and the visual in the post-Minimalist era.

The Art Gallery is located in DW Williams Hall, at the intersection of University Avenue east of Solano Drive. Entrance to the hall is on the University Avenue side.
