New Mexico State University faculty to perform at percussion recital

New Mexico State University percussion instructor Fred Bugbee will present a faculty recital at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the Music Center Recital Hall.

The recital will feature traditional music from Ghana interwoven with folk tales of the Akan people. Bugbee will be assisted by Darrel Randall, Karuna Warren, Monika Mojica, Lucas Critchfield, Colin McAllister and Mark Saenz.

Also featured will be "Ceremonies," a contemporary work for the oboe and prepared piano composed by New Mexico State Professor Emeritus Warner Hutchison.
