College of Engineering Technology Forum and Exchange announces call for papers

Ricardo B. Jacquez, dean of New Mexico State University's College of Engineering, has announced the second annual Technology Forum and Exchange and invites submissions of abstracts for the event, to be held Feb. 21-22, 2011 on NMSU's Las Cruces campus.

The forum will offer short presentations from researchers, program managers and entrepreneurs to stimulate interaction among attendees and create new relationships and foster collaborative opportunities.

This annual event features technology discussion across industry and academia in New Mexico. This year's theme, Research to Realization, promotes research, new technologies, technology transfer and emerging capabilities in the fields of aerospace, energy, transportation and water. Abstracts that incorporate manufacturing or information science as they span these fields are highly encouraged.

"This is a unique opportunity for private sector business, government agencies and academia to share innovative concepts and technologies," said Jacquez.
