NMSU to host government and public services career fair

New Mexico State University students interested in working for nonprofit agencies or the government will have the chance to look for opportunities at NMSU Career Services' Government and Public Service Career Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov.18 on the first floor of Corbett Center Student Union.

Students will be able to find full-time job opportunities as well as part-time jobs, co-ops and internships. The fair will feature representatives from federal, state and local government as well as several nonprofit organizations.

Students from all grade levels and majors are encouraged to attend. They should be dressed professionally with resumes in hand. Students are also encouraged to visit the attendants' websites to familiarize themselves with prospective employers.

Career Services will host Resume Aggiemania, a resume-writing workshop for students, on the days leading up to the event. For more information on the workshop, career fair or for a complete list of participating agencies, visit http://careerservices.nmsu.edu/index.html or e-mail pscs@nmsu.edu.
