SU Professor Named To Tourism Association Executive Committee

LAS CRUCES - Priscilla Bloomquist, assistant professor in New Mexico State University's hospitality and tourism program, was appointed to the Executive Committee for the Tourism Association of New Mexico (TANM) on November 17.


Bloomquist also will assume the chairmanship of the Research and Education Committee of TANM. Her primary responsibility will be to organize the annual TANM Research Conference to be held in Las Cruces April 24-25, 1996.

TANM is a non-profit organization composed of over 300 tourism-related businesses, organizations and individuals. It is dedicated to improving the climate for the state's tourism industry through leadership, education and communication.

Bloomquist was selected for her dedication and service to the organization, and her diligent work in furthering the hospitality and tourism business in the state.
