Free Investing Teleconference Offered Nov. 9 at NMSU

LAS CRUCES -- Investing for your future. If you're like most people, you know you should do it, but you're not sure of the best method. A free teleconference on Nov. 9 at New Mexico State University's College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences will provide tips about saving and investing wisely.

The teleconference, hosted by NMSU's Cooperative Extension Service, will feature experts from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Reserve Board and Money magazine. Several financial authors also will be on hand to answer individual questions.

New and experienced investors are invited to attend. Discussion topics will include budgeting to find money to save, choosing banking services, understanding risk, setting financial goals and making investment choices. A packet of helpful investing information will be given to each attendant.

The teleconference begins at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9 in NMSU's Gerald Thomas Hall auditorium. Participants are encouraged to pre-register by Nov. 1. For more information or to register, contact Susan Wright at (505) 646-3306.
