American Southwest Theatre Company season tickets on sale

The American Southwest Theatre Company at New Mexico State University Theatre Arts is selling season tickets and coupon books for the 2011-2012 season of entertainment.

The season will open with the classic drama, "Miss Julie," by August Strindberg. A Theatre for Young Audiences production of "hard 2 spel dad" and the screwball comedy, "Once in a Lifetime," will follow.

The spring semester will bring Neil Simon's beloved "Brighton Beach Memoirs" and a High Desert reading. The season will close with "SHOUT! The Mod Musical."

Season tickets cost $52 or $48 for senior citizens and NMSU faculty, staff and students. A special "Take Your Pick" coupon book featuring eight ticket coupons redeemable for any performance costs $100.

In addition to cost savings, season subscribers get to vote for annual acting awards and receive priority reserved seating and invitations to special events.
