NMSU Grants recognizes outstanding graduates

New Mexico State University Grants honored the spring 2011 Outstanding Graduates with a luncheon Wednesday, April 13, at La Ventana Restaurant.


The NMSU Alumni Association selected a recipient from each of Grant's three divisions based on outstanding scholarship, leadership and participation in university and community activities.

The Associate in Applied Science Division honored Ernest Delfino Martinez who majors in welding. He was campus director and the recipient of the President's Scholarship.

The Associate of Arts Division honored Eileen Martinez who majors in social services. She is the recipient of the President's Scholarship, the Divide Electric Scholarship and is an Outstanding Graduate in Social Services.

The Associate in General Studies Division honored Dominic Poncho who graduates with a major in computer technology. Poncho is part of the Who's Who Among American College Students and a Crimson Scholar. He graduates with a 4.0 GPA.
