Journalism professor wins fifth Huck Boyd research award

J. Sean McCleneghan, professor of journalism at New Mexico State University, has earned his fifth Huck Boyd National Community Media Center research award from Kansas State University.



NMSU journalism professor J. Sean McCleneghan has earned his fifth Huck Boyd National Community Media Center research award from Kansas State University.

McCleneghan will present his research on marketing attributes for successful community dailies and weeklies at the National Newspaper Association's 115th Annual Convention, Oct. 4- 7 in Louisville, Ky. He will join 11 other HBNCM research winners from other universities across the country.

Last year, McCleneghan earned a New Mexico Press Association Award for his 19 years of service to New Mexico newspapers.
