Back-to-school time can put quite a dent in the wallets of New Mexico State University students who also have school-age children. To help out, NMSU's Department of Family and Consumer Sciences has collected hundreds of backpacks and filled them with school supplies for any NMSU student-parents who requested them. The free backpacks will be handed out to NMSU students and their children on Saturday, Aug. 13.
