ASTC AT NMSU THEATRE ARTS PRESENTS 'ONCE IN A LIFETIME'

American Southwest Theatre Company at New Mexico State University Theatre Arts will present the classic Kaufman and Hart screwball comedy, "Once in a Lifetime," Nov. 18 through Dec. 4 at the Hershel Zohn Theatre.

Set in the late 1920s, "Once in a Lifetime" presents vaudevillians May, George and Jerry as they decide to take Hollywood by storm posing as voice coaches for the new talking films. The only problem is that none of them know anything about voice coaching. To make matters worse, an arrogant studio executive, a temperamental German director, talentless actors, a nosy gossip columnist and a frustrated writer all combine to make what might possibly be the worst movie ever.

Regular performance times will be 7:30 p.m. for Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows and 2 p.m. for Sunday shows. Tickets range from $10-$15 and are available at the Hershel Zohn Theatre Box Office between noon and 4 p.m. or by calling 575-646-4515.
