CLABS HOSTS SPEAKER ON MEXICAN REVOLUTION


The Center for Latin American and Border Studies and NMSU's College of Arts and Sciences will present a talk by Barbara Tannenbaum. The lecture titled "Vámonos: The Mexican Revolution in Sights and Sound at the Library of Congress" will take place at 4 p.m Wednesday, Feb. 29, at the Nason House, located at 1200 University Ave. across from the FedEx/ Kinko's. The lecture is free and open to the public.

CULTURAL SERIES CONTINUES WITH CELTIC MUSIC

The Cathie Ryan Band will perform a solo concert at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, at NMSU Music Center's Atkinson Recital Hall. Ryan is hailed by the Los Angeles Times as "one of the leading voices in Celtic music" and named female vocalist of the decade by Irish-American News. Her crystalline vocals and insightful songwriting make the Detroit-native an original and distinctive voice in Celtic music.

AGGIE ATHLETICS PRESENTS BASEBALL, SOFTBALL AND MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Aggie Baseball will face Sacred Heart at 2:05 and 6:05 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Presley Askew Field. The series will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 2:05 p.m.

Men's Basketball will compete against San Jose State at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Pan American Center.

The New Mexico State Equestrian team will face Texas Christian University at 10 a.m. on Feb. 25 at the NM State Equestrian Center. This event is free to the public.

Women's Tennis will face the University of Texas of the Permian Basin Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Aggie Tennis Complex.

Women's Tennis will face the University of New Mexico at 3 p.m. Friday, Mar. 2 at the Aggie Tennis Complex.
