Course date changes for NMSU College of Engineering PE exam review course

New Mexico State University's Engineering New Mexico Resource Network professional engineer exam review course has been moved to a new date. The course will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 3-4. It will focus on electric power to help individuals prepare for the exam and will cover circuits, power machines and an introduction to engineering ethics.

This course is recommended for experienced engineers wishing to expand their knowledge of electric power system fundamentals, those who are planning to take the PE exam and early career engineers.

Howard A. Smolleck, retired NMSU electrical and computer engineering professor, is the instructor.

The cost to attend the two-day course is $1,000 per person for those registered prior to March 16; thereafter the cost is $1,250 per person. The registration fee includes instructional materials and meals. The course will be held on the NMSU Las Cruces campus and also will be available via webcast for preregistered participants.
