NMSU ROTC concludes year with Pass-in-Review

The Pass-in-Review is a formal military ceremony that displays the strength and unity of a detachment as well as promoting teamwork and pride within an organization.

"This is a chance for both ROTC programs to recognize West Texas and New Mexico's past and present military support and involvement," said Lt. Col. Bennett, commander of AFROTC Detachment 505 at NMSU. "Veterans and their families from every conflict since WWII are here to see our ROTC seniors take NMSU's parade field for the last time before they become commissioned officers, continuing the great military legacy that comes from the Southwestern United States."

NMSU President Barbara Couture will inspect the cadets before her address at the 110th anniversary, marking the end of another successful year.

Immediately following the ceremony, students will participate in an awards ceremony and receive locally supported scholarships.
