CRABTREE AMUSEMENTS CARNIVAL COMES TO NMSU


New Mexico State University will host the Crabtree Amusements Carnival June 15-24 on Lot 30, east of the Pan American Center. The carnival will be open from 5-11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. All rides are $1 and all day wristbands can be purchased for $15 at the carnival entrance.

NMSU HOSTS IMMIGRATION CONFERENCE

New Mexico State University will host the conference "Immigration Policy and Human Rights: Perspectives from Border Communities" June 17-22. The conference includes keynote speaker Maria Hinojosa of NPR-Latino USA and PBS-NOW on June 18, as well as researchers and advocates for the rights of migrants in Mexico and the U.S. This conference is free and open to the public. SUMMER STORYTIME CONTINUES WITH CLIFFORD

Barnes & Noble at New Mexico State University Bookstore and Café continues its Summer Story Time with Clifford the Big Red Dog at 11 a.m. June 22 and 23 and at noon June 24. Children will have the opportunity to meet the costume character in the southeast living room on the second floor of the Barnes & Nobel bookstore.

BARNES AND NOBLE TO HOST FREE PUBLIC OPEN MIC NIGHTS

Barnes & Noble at New Mexico State University will host free open mic nights from 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays during the summer months. The public is invited to enjoy the free performances or to sign up to take the stage themselves.

Barnes & Noble at NMSU is located at the corner of University Avenue and Jordan Street and provides free public parking. Please note that the store will close on Wednesday, July 4, in celebration of Independence Day.
