AGGIE ATHLETICS PRESENTS VOLLEYBALL AND SOCCER


Aggie Volleyball will face Drake University and Northwestern University at 12:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Pan American Center as part of the NM State Tournament. Cincinnati will also face Northwestern at 10 a.m. and Drake at 4:30 p.m. Aggie games will be broadcasted on KSNM-AM 570.

Women's Soccer will host Sam Houston State University at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the NMSU Soccer Complex.

FREE PUBLIC OPEN MIC NIGHT CONTINUES
With the success of the summer Open Mic nights, Barnes & Noble at NMSU Bookstore & Café will continue them throughout the fall semester. Whether you're a poet, thespian or musician wanting to perform in front of your student peers or want to check out a free show, come to the Friday show from 5-8 p.m.

AUTHOR BOOK READING AT BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSTORE

Malaka Sharice El will read from her title, "Varseth," at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the Barnes & Noble at NMSU Bookstore & Café. A book signing will follow the reading.

ATKINSON RECITAL HALL HOSTS CULTURAL SERIES

The NMSU Cultural Series will begin with Ethel and Robert Mirabal performing at 8 p.m. Sept. 7. Ethel, a post-classical string quartet, will be joined by Native American flutist Robert Mirabal. Tickets are $10 for NMSU students, $15 for adults and can be purchased online at http://bit.ly/N3oLG9.

Season tickets can be purchased for $81 and are available at the Pan American Center Ticket Office. Additional fees may apply. IPAD, TABLET PRODUCTIVITY APP WORKSHOPS

ICT Student Technology and Planning will host an Apple Rep on campus to lead workshops on iPad Productivity Apps at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5 at Jacobs Hall and 1:15 Sept. 6 at the Business Complex Room 343. NMSU students, faculty and staff are invited to the one-hour workshop. Attendees are encouraged to bring their iPad/Tablet. Visit the NM State Tech Store on the 2nd floor of the Barnes & Noble at NMSU Bookstore & Café to test an iPad or NOOK Tablet. These workshops will continue at various times and locations August thru October.
