New Mexico State University events Sept. 22-28

NMSU DANCE PROGRAM PRESENTS TANGO


New Mexico State University's three dance companies, Sol y Arena (flamenco), DanceSport (ballroom) and Contemporary Dance Theater will present Tango at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, and at 3 p.m. Sept. 23. The performance will take place at NMSU's Rentfrow Gym, on the corner of Stewart Street and Williams Avenue.

Admission is $8 for NMSU students, Pan American Dance Institute members and senior citizens and $10 for adults. Tickets can be purchased from the NMSU Dance Department or at the door. For more information, call 575-646-2070.

BARNES AND NOBLE STORYTIME

Barnes & Nobel at NMSU will host a children's Story Time with "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, and at noon Sunday, Sept. 23. The Mouse costumed character will also be present to take part in the activities.

Barnes & Noble at NMSU is located at 1400 E. University Avenue and provides free public parking directly behind the building off Jordan Street. For more information, call 575-646-4431.

TOUGH ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK AT THE PAN AM CENTER

The Pan American Center will host the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Style Show and Luncheon from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27. Shop for the Cure shopping and boutiques will be open on the east and southeast concourses. Shopping is open to the public.

Sodexo Ladies Luncheon and Emerald Isle Fashion Show will take place on the floor of the Pan American Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets cost $40. For more information, call 575-649-2547

AGGIE ATHLETICS PRESENTS VOLLEYBALL, TENNIS

Aggie volleyball will face the University of Texas-Arlington at noon Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Pan American Center.

Men's tennis will host the Aggie Invitational all day Saturday, Sept. 22, and Sunday, Sept. 23.
