FREE PUBLIC STORY TIMES


Barnes & Noble at NMSU will host a series of Story Times for children during the month of June. Enjoy free donuts and a reading of a donut-related story on National Donut Day at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 7. Tacky the Penguin will visit the bookstore at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, and again at noon on Sunday, June 9, for special readings of his books. Wear red, white and blue at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 14, for a special Flag Day Story Time reading.

Free parking is available in designated spaces. Barnes & Noble at NMSU is located at 1400 E. University Ave. For more information, call 646-5822.

GET GOLF READY SESSION 4

Register is now open for the next installment of Get Golf Ready in 5 Days. Public sessions will be held from 2-3 p.m. every Saturday in June at the NMSU Golf Course located at 3000 Herb Wimberly Drive. The cost for the session is $75. VANS WARPED TOUR RETURNS TO NMSU

The Vans Warped Tour 2013 returns to the NMSU Intramural Field June 26. More than 80 bands will perform on eight separate stages during the day-long event that begins at 11 a.m. and continues until dusk. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 on the day of the show and are now available at the Pan American Center Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

RASCAL FLATS "LIVE AND LOUD" TOUR COMES TO PAN AM

American country music band Rascal Flats will perform live with The Band Perry and this year's winner of NBC's "The Voice", Cassadee Pope at NMSU's Pan American Center at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3

Rascal Flatts has had 14 singles at the top of the country music charts and will perform some older hits as well as new music from their No. 1 eighth studio album, "Changed."
